FISHERMEN (SELL YOUR DREAMS) - MUSIC VIDEO FOR NYOKABI’S WINNING “RECOMPOSE” ENTRY

The collaborative process of creating the video echoes the collaborative nature of the ‘Recompose' competition itself, which had invited composers to sonically reimagine one of the songs on Alev Lenz's 2019 album, '3', in whatever way they chose.

After Zoom meetings spanning the US, Europe and the UK, Nyokabi and Alev took pen to paper and drew their interpretations of an oceanic landscape while video director Jonny Sanders (Prehuman) masterfully made them come alive, capturing Nyokabi and Alev’s worlds meeting and melting into one another.
